Frequently asked questions about Bulk Sales
Where do I send the bulk?
After completing and submitting the request, you'll see a page full of information showing where to send the bulk and how best to pack the parcel for the most efficient processing on our end. You'll also receive a manual confirmation email from us containing all the information (this can take up to 48 hours).
What is the minimum number of cards I can send?
There is a minimum of €30,- sale value worth of cards that you can send. You decide for yourself whether it's worth selling your bulk. Our online calculator helps you easily estimate the value, so you have a good idea before you decide to ship. Whether it's a small collection or a large lot of cards, we process your bulk with the same care!
What if I enter the wrong number of cards in the calculator?
No problem! We understand it can be tricky to count everything exactly. Our calculator gives you an estimate, but we always check the cards carefully on receipt. If there turns out to be a difference, we adjust the value based on the quantities actually received and send you the final calculation by email. Please note: the quantities sent are binding, so the final calculation is decisive. That's how we keep everything fair and transparent!
Where do Ascended Heroes (ASC) Reverse Holos belong?
You can enter these under the regular Reverse Holos. Both the Energy Reverse Holos and Ball Reverse Holos from the Ascended Heroes (ASC) set fall under the regular Reverse Holo category.
How should I pack my bulk?
1. Preparing the cards
Sorting: Group cards in stacks of, for example, 100 cards. This is not necessary for common and uncommon cards. It makes them easier to check later and prevents them from shifting in the packaging.
Protect the cards: You can put the stacks of rares and (reverse) holos in small resealable plastic bags, or wrap them in A4 paper. Common & uncommon cards may be loose in stacks, provided they are held firmly and cannot shift.
2. Use sturdy materials
Box: Choose a sturdy cardboard box that is large enough for your bulk, but not so large that too much empty space remains.
All-round protection: Wrap the stacks of cards in bubble wrap. This ensures they are protected against knocks and bumps during transport.
3. Fill empty space
Filling material: Fill the empty space in the box with, for example, packing peanuts, old newspapers or more bubble wrap. This prevents the cards from moving around in the box during transport. Make sure the cards are held firmly, but not too tightly, so that no pressure is put on the cards.
4. Preparing for shipment
Sealing: Seal the box firmly with wide packing tape. Make sure all seams are properly sealed.
Address label: Write the address clearly and correctly on the box, or print a shipping label. Add our email address as the recipient so that we receive a Track & Trace: info@cards-center.nl
5. Extra tips
Add a covering note: Put a note in the box with your name and email address so that we know the shipment is from you.
Consider a traceable insured shipment: We recommend sending it insured. That way you're always covered if something happens to the parcel.
With these steps you'll make sure your Pokémon cards reach us safely and in good condition. If you have any further questions about packing, feel free to contact us!
Who pays the shipping costs?
The shipping costs and sending of the parcel are entirely the responsibility of the sender. This also means that you are responsible for packing the cards safely and making sure the parcel reaches us in good condition.
To minimise risks, we recommend using a traceable shipping option and packing your parcel well according to our guidelines (see the question above). That way you can be sure your cards are delivered to us safely and correctly!
How long does it take before I get my money?
We aim to process your bulk as quickly as possible. For most shipments, you'll receive the payout within 24 hours of receipt and inspection of the cards.
With large amounts of bulk (for example thousands of cards), processing may take a little longer, but even then we make sure you receive an update and payout within 48 hours at the latest. You'll always be notified by email as soon as processing is complete!
Can I sell my bulk for store credit instead of money?
Yes, you certainly can! If you choose a store credit voucher instead of a cash payout, you get 20% extra value on top of the amount your bulk is worth.
You can use this credit in our webshop for single cards, sealed products and more. It's a great way to get even more out of your collection and expand it further!
What happens if my bulk doesn't meet the requirements?
If your bulk doesn't meet the conditions (for example due to a large number of damaged Pokémon cards), we'll contact you to discuss this.
You then have two options:
- Return shipment: We send your bulk back. The cost for this is €10.95 per parcel, which must be paid in advance.
- Adjusting the price: If you agree, we'll adjust the price based on the cards that do meet the conditions.
We always make sure you get a clear explanation and choice, so you know where you stand!
What is the difference between a Basic Energy and a Special Energy?
Basic Energy cards are cards found in every Booster Pack; they are unnumbered or have a number such as SVE001-008. These cards can be recognised by "Basic Energy" at the top of the card.
Special Energy cards are cards that belong to the set and can therefore also be recognised by "Special Energy" in the top left corner. They have a number from the corresponding set itself.
