Lorcana Wilds Unknown: Pixar comes to Lorcana
Disney Lorcana is taking a historic step. With Wilds Unknown — the twelfth major expansion, released on 15 May 2026 — characters from Pixar-animated films make their entrance into the Inklands for the very first time. Toy Story, The Incredibles and Brave bring not only beloved faces, but also brand-new play styles and some of the rarest cards the game has seen so far. We've put everything together for you.
In short
- Wilds Unknown has been out since 15 May 2026 (prerelease from 8 May).
- Pixar in Lorcana for the first time: Toy Story, The Incredibles and Brave.
- Two new play styles: the Toy-based synergy and the Super-tag.
- 204 cards in the main set, plus a new card type (Travelers) and 18 Enchanted cards in the new Lore Nouveau-style artwork.
- The two rarest cards are the Iconics: Buzz Lightyear – Jungle Ranger and Merida – Formidable Archer.
What is Wilds Unknown?
Wilds Unknown is the twelfth regular set of Disney Lorcana and contains 204 cards in the main set, supplemented by higher rarities such as Enchanted and Iconic cards. The adventure heads into the wilderness: a rougher, more natural setting where explorers and creatures come together. It's precisely in that setting that the new guests fit in perfectly.
Alongside the big Pixar premiere, you'll also see familiar faces from Encanto, Robin Hood and The Rescuers, among others. For those just getting started: you don't need any previous sets to begin with Wilds Unknown — it's a great starting point for building your collection or your deck.
Pixar finally makes its entrance
The biggest first of this set: Pixar comes to Lorcana. Until now the game consisted entirely of classic Disney and Disney Animation characters, but in Wilds Unknown three iconic Pixar worlds debut at once: Toy Story, The Incredibles and Brave.
For collectors, that's a milestone. First appearances of characters have historically often been the most sought after, and with names like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, the Parr family and Merida, there are more than enough eye-catchers to look forward to.
Tip for collectors
First prints of popular characters often become scarce later on. The Pixar debuts in Wilds Unknown are therefore worth securing early.
The Toy synergy of Toy Story
2 in stock
Uncommon
Woody and Buzz Lightyear come to Lorcana as Toy-type glimmers, and that's more than a nod to the films: it's a complete play style. The Toy Story cards reward you for playing other Toy-type glimmers, so your toys strengthen each other as more of them hit the table.
That makes them ideal for a theme deck. Build around a core of toys, play them early and take advantage of the bonuses they give each other: the fuller your board is with Toys, the stronger the whole becomes.
Woody – Leader of the Toys is exactly the kind of card that drives such a strategy: a leader who takes the rest of the toys to a higher level. A logical starting point if you want to get going with the Toy synergy.
The Super tag of The Incredibles

Legendary
The Parr family — Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet and Jack-Jack — introduces the brand-new Super-tag. These cards revolve around raw power and teamwork: superheroes who protect each other and achieve more together than alone.
It's a play style that invites combining. Put the right heroes side by side and you build a team that's hard to stop, with strong attackers shielded by their teammates.
Mr. Incredible – Super Strong shows straight away what it is all about: pure power that lifts your whole team. Combine him with the rest of the family and you have the foundation for a solid Super deck.
Merida and the world of Brave
Brave also makes its debut, with Merida as its figurehead. Her cards anchor the green (Emerald) part of the set and give the wilderness theme extra colour. Merida appears in several versions — from accessible commons to the very rarest print in the whole set, more on which below.
Rare cards: Enchanted, Travelers and the Iconics
Wilds Unknown also refines the top cards. The Enchanted cards appear in a brand-new art style, Lore Nouveau. In addition, the set introduces a brand-new card type: the Travelers — twelve special glimmers that belong in the wilderness, bring their own mechanics and fit into almost any deck. During the prerelease events, six exclusive promo versions of these Travelers were also up for grabs.
The absolute showpiece is the two Iconic-class cards: the rarest category in the set, with a reported pull rate of less than one in 1,500 packs. In Wilds Unknown these are Buzz Lightyear – Jungle Ranger and Merida – Formidable Archer — instantly the most sought-after (and most expensive) cards of the release.

Want the thrill of opening them yourself? Then a single booster is the most fun way to get to know Wilds Unknown. Every pack is full of cards from the set, with a chance of foils and higher rarities.
And with a good dose of luck you might even pull one of the chase cards. The Iconics are only in a fraction of the packs, but that is exactly what makes opening them so exciting.
Would you rather complete your collection in a targeted way? Then single cards (below) are the more efficient choice — many collectors combine both: a few boosters for fun, and singles for the cards they really want.
