This was announced by research company GfK, which tracks game sales figures in Europe. The game was not only the most popular game on a continental basis, but also in eleven of the nineteen countries where GfK tracks it, including the Netherlands. The game was released for Nintendo Switch on January 28.
Number two on the list in Europe is Horizon Forbidden West, developed in the Netherlands. Fifa 22 is in third place. The Dutch top three looks slightly different after Pokémon Legends: Arceus at number one: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is in second place and Horizon Forbidden West is in third place.
